What HomeKoTo is

HomeKoTo is a free education resource wholly owned and operated by Aware Financial, the fee-for-service financial planning practice of Hervin Pesa, CFP (awarefinancial.ca). The articles, tools, calculators, and 30-day series are for learning. They are not financial, legal, tax, mortgage, or real estate advice for your specific situation.

Use the site fairly

• Do not copy the content and republish it as your own.
• Do not try to break, scrape, or overload the site.
• Do not use the site to harass or mislead anyone.
• You must be 18 or older to submit forms.

Numbers, rates, and rules change

Mortgage rules, tax accounts (FHSA, RRSP, HBP), CMHC premiums, and market data change often. We do our best to keep them current and stamp pages with a verification date. Always confirm with a licensed professional before you sign anything.
